Temporary residence permit
The application to issue or renew a temporary residence permit is filed electronically via MIGRIS. The state fee for acceptance, examination, decision and issue is 160 EUR; express β 320 EUR (payment code 5740, to VMI accounts). After the e-application, you must attend a booked visit within 4 months to submit biometrics and original documents.

File the e-application in MIGRIS
Attach digital copies of the documents. Filing alone does not grant the right to live in Lithuania β it only starts the process.
Pay the fee
160 EUR standard or 320 EUR express (payment code 5740 to VMI accounts). Check whether a discount or exemption applies to you.
Attend biometrics within 4 months
At the booked time submit fingerprints, photo and original documents at the Migration Department branch. For renewal, apply at least 1 working day before expiry but no earlier than 6 months ahead.
