Who this applies to
Step by step
Register as unemployed
Online at praca.gov.pl (with a Trusted Profile) or in person at the powiat labour office for your registered residence. Bring your work certificates and contribution documents.
The PUP determines your entitlement
The office checks the 365 days in 18 months and your seniority (80/100/120%). Unemployed status also brings health insurance — whether or not the benefit is granted.
Meet the duties and receive payments
Attend the scheduled visits and accept suitable job offers — an unjustified refusal costs the status. The benefit is paid in arrears for monthly periods.
