Marriage registration
A marriage is registered at any civil registry office of the couple's choice, no earlier than one month after applying. The easiest way is the Registrų centras self-service: one partner fills in the form, the other confirms and pays it within 2 hours. The typical fee is 30 EUR at the office and 70 EUR at a chosen venue (which must be within that municipality).

File the application
Via the RC self-service: one fills it in, the other confirms and pays within 2 hours (if missed, refile after 2 days). Or both visit the chosen registry office with ID documents.
Agree the date and venue
Free dates are shown in the RC self-service. The ceremony can be at the office or your chosen venue within the municipality, if it doesn't breach public order.
Register the marriage
Since 2017 paper certificates are no longer issued — the marriage is an electronic record; on request you can get a confirming extract (6.20 EUR).
