The annual PIT return (Twój e-PIT)
The annual PIT return for the previous year is filed from mid-February until 30 April. The easiest way is Twój e-PIT in the e-Tax Office (podatki.gov.pl): the return is pre-filled with data from employers and ZUS. For PIT-37 and PIT-38 filers auto-acceptance applies — if you do nothing by 30 April, the office treats the prepared return as filed. Refunds for electronic filers take at most 45 days (paper — up to 3 months).
