Sick leave and sickness benefit

When ill, the doctor issues an electronic incapacity certificate. The first two days matching your work schedule are paid by the employer — at their choice from 62.06% to 100% of average pay. From day three Sodra pays the benefit: 62.06% of your gross wage, for working days only, until recovery. In Q1 2026 the minimum monthly benefit is 281.19 EUR and the maximum 2,998.37 EUR.
